Traditional Reflexology – 60 mins
Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage – 30 mins
Reflexology is a safe, natural, non-invasive, complimentary therapy. It is based on the theory that all the systems and organs of the body are reflected in specific areas on the feet (reflex points). Applying pressure to these reflex points stimulates the nerves, (over 7,000 nerves in the feet) which in turn, balances the nervous system. The aim is to stimulate a response or reaction in the corresponding organ or system of the body, which is believed to help restore a state of balance.
The Rest and Restore back, neck and shoulder massage focuses on areas of the upper body that are prone to the stresses and strains of modern-day living. Swedish massage helps release built up tension in the neck, shoulders and back, helping you to unwind and make your body feel rejuvenated.
Reflexology does not claim to diagnose or cure problems – it aims to induce a deep sense of relaxation and encourage the body’s own healing process.
The Maternity Care Package
This package is designed to provide mothers-to-be with the ultimate support during their second and third trimester of pregnancy.
4 X 60 mins – Traditional Reflexology Sessions
1 X 3 hour – Hypnobirthing Essentials Course
I am excited to have teamed up with Ellie from ‘Born To Birth’, who is offering this perfect one-off birth essential course covering everything you need to prepare for birth; from understanding the natural physiology of birth and what is happening in your body during labour to how to prepare for a calm and relaxed birth through the promotion of your natural birth hormones, breathing techniques and hypnosis. This class will ensure you feel prepared and ready for the biggest day of your life and works to rewrite those feelings of anxiety surrounding birth to feelings of excitement and positivity. Ellie’s class is designed to also support your birth partner in allowing them to take an active role, feel more inclusive and ultimately support you during labour.
In addition, as part of the package you will receive 4 individual reflexology sessions. Reflexology can be a great support during pregnancy. It can help you cope with the rapid hormonal, physical and emotional changes the body experiences throughout this time. Reflexology aims to bring about a deep state of relaxation and create an overall sense of wellbeing. These sessions can be used for general wellbeing, or to address other health issues as they arise (i.e. sleeping problems/back pain/lack of energy).
We look forward to supporting you on this exciting journey.

Baby & Me
This package is designed for both mummy and baby postpartum. Post birth is a very important time to re-balance the hormones and focus on speeding up the healing process. This can result in a speedy recovery that will enable you to feel well following the birth of your baby.
3 X 60 mins Traditional Reflexology Sessions*
1 X 60 mins Baby Reflex Workshop (teaching specially adapted reflexology routines for you to apply on your baby).
The first 12 weeks after having had your baby is known as the “fourth trimester.” It is a time that your body will experience some major changes both physically and emotionally. This phase can feel completely overwhelming. Not only are you trying to contend with becoming a new mum but you also have the challenges of postpartum pain, tackling breastfeeding, a lack of sleep and fluctuating hormones.
Incorporated within this package is a 60 minute Baby Reflex workshop that will be tailored to your baby’s needs. This workshop teaches you specially adapted reflexology routines that you can apply to your own little one at home or even when out and about. Baby Reflex was originally developed to increase bonding and to enable parents to help ease and relieve many normal discomforts in their own child. Baby Reflex can help with feeding and digesting issues, sleep and comforting and general wellbeing including teething pains. Partners are also welcome to attend.
* Babies are welcome to come to the session and have a cuddle or feed while you receive your treatment.

The ‘Preparation for Birth’ Package
These reflexology sessions aim to relieve stress and tension and bring about a deep state of relaxation that helps create an overall sense of wellbeing. During the end of your final trimester, stress hormones may delay the onset of labour so the more prepared and relaxed you feel, the better.
5 X 60 mins – Reflexology sessions
Please remember that reflexology is a complimentary therapy and does not claim to induce labour, especially if the baby is not ready. However, if the time is right, reflexology can be helpful in the final few weeks and days when stress and anxiety levels are often increased. The body will only start producing the natural birthing hormones when it is in a relaxed state (can often happen during the night).
Once the due date is in sight, clients usually start having treatments once or twice a week. If you have never received reflexology prior to these sessions, it is recommended to receive 2 treatments that focus on relaxation before we commence with the more stimulating treatment sessions. From session 3, it’s at this point the treatment sessions change slightly to helping the body prepare for labour.
We then focus on supporting the production of the below hormones that play a major role in regulating the process of labour and birth.
Oxytocin – Is the hormone that stimulates powerful contractions, which help to dilate the cervix and loosen the pelvis.
Endorphins – In response to stress and pain, the body produces calming and pain-relieving hormones. High endorphin levels during labour can help women through the process even during the most challenging of births.
Adrenalin – This is produced by the adrenal glands and is our “fight or flight” hormone that is produced to help ensure survival. During labour high levels can be produced (by fear or severe pain) and this can slow labour or even stop it altogether.
